Aviation Information Control attains ISO Certification for the Second Time
The Directorate General of Civil
Aviation in Kuwait announced that the Aviation Information Control at the Air-Navigation
Department has attained the ISO 9001-2015 Certificate in Quality Management,
after implementing all the requirements set out in the decisions of the
International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
The Directorate General of Civil Aviation
said in a press statement that the Aviation Information Control has carried out
an extensive modernization operation for the devices and systems to organize
flights plans and navigational maps provided to users of airline companies and
aircraft operators through the implementation of a qualification plan conforming
to the Quality Management Standards.
The Directorate explained that work
is continuing to develop quality management systems with the aim to ensure
safety, consistency and efficiency of international air-navigation in the State
of Kuwait.
