“Civil Aviation”: Suspending Circular (25)
Directorate General of Civil Aviation issued a Circular to the airline companies operating at Kuwait International Airport ordering suspension of Circular No. (25), which requires the Expats arriving to the country to undergo medical examination for the Nova Coronavirus (COVID-19).
The Directorate indicated that it will replace these procedures with others that will be laid out by the competent authorities as soon as possible to ensure realizing the desired goal of confronting the spread of the Coronavirus.
The Directorate explained that in light of monitoring progress in the existing procedures and measures to confront Coronavirus, and being keen to undertake the necessary preventive measures for receiving the passengers, the decision was suspended due to the inability to implement the procedures and examinations that were stipulated in the said Circular for technical reasons not available in some countries.
