ICAO Lowers its Flag to Half-Mast for the Demise of the Great Late Sheikh/ Sabah Al-Ahmed
The International Civil Aviation
Organization (ICAO) of the United Nations Organization announced lowering the flag
of the organization to half-mast at the organization's headquarters in
Montreal, Canada as well as all its regional offices around the world, mourning
the demise of the late His Highness the Amir Sheikh/ Sabah Al-Ahmed Al-Jaber
Al-Sabah, may God rest his soul.
On the
other hand, H.E. President of Civil Aviation, President of the Arab Civil
Aviation Organization and Deputy of General Assembly of the International Civil
Aviation Organization - Sheikh/ Salman Al-Homoud Al-Sabah, received
telegrams of condolences from the heads and directors of the Arab and
international civil aviation authorities on the demise of the missed leader of
the country and the Arab and Islamic nation, the late His Highness Sheikh/ Sabah
Al-Ahmed, may God have mercy on him, in which they expressed sincere
condolences and deep sympathy for the loss of the great late Amir who was a
prominent leader world-wide.
